Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Intellectual Capital on Firm Value with Profitability
as a mediating variable in healthcare sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during
the 2022–2024 period. This research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression
analysis and purposive sampling technique based on predetermined criteria, utilizing secondary data
obtained from annual financial reports. The results indicate that Intellectual Capital has no significant
effect on Profitability and Firm Value, while Profitability has a positive and significant effect on Firm
Value. Furthermore, the mediation test shows that Profitability does not mediate the relationship
between Intellectual Capital and Firm Value due to unmet mediation requirements. Therefore,
Intellectual Capital has not been proven to enhance Firm Value either directly or indirectly through
Profitability.

Additional Information: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Intellectual Capital terhadap Nilai Perusahaan dengan Profitabilitas sebagai variabel mediasi pada perusahaan sektor kesehatan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2022–2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linear berganda dan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, menggunakan data sekunder dari laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Intellectual Capital tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas maupun terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, sedangkan Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Selain itu, hasil uji mediasi menunjukkan bahwa Profitabilitas tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh Intellectual Capital terhadap Nilai Perusahaan karena tidak terpenuhinya syarat mediasi. Dengan demikian, Intellectual Capital belum terbukti mampu meningkatkan Nilai Perusahaan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui Profitabilitas.
